I feel the need to explain this, and so I shall
This poem is about the coming and going of night. The moon and the night are described as ladies, mother and daughter. With slight reference to Norse Mythology, the moon is chased across the sky by wolves, and she has companions which protect her. Invisible birds that can only be seen by their shadows when bathed in moonlight. But they cannot shield her forever, and the wolves come ever closer, never far behind. And so the night is over, a new day has come, and the moonlight and the birds are gone.

I'm not too sure if my entry actually fits and represents that, but I was inspired by it, so.. xD
Many good entries in this one too, so I hope i manage to learn something! Winning, though, I hope comes visiting soon..
